Anushakthinagar Christian Fellowship
Anushaktinagar Christian Fellowship (ACF) is an interdenominational, evangelistic organisation, encouraging individual Christians to bear fruitful Christian witness while remaining faithfully in their respective denominations.
A group of Christians from different denominations in Anushaktinagar met together in March 1973 and discussed the need for a united Christian witness and social action in Anushaktinagar.
This marked the humble beginning of ACF, fifty years ago. A draft Constitution was prepared soon after and it was approved by the General Body shortly thereafter. ACF was registered under the Society Registration Act, 1860 in September 1976 and under the Public Trusts Act, 1950 in December 1976. God enabled ACF to grow from strength to strength in the last fifty years and carry out several activities for the noble cause of Christ and His Gospel in and around Anushaktinagar.
The aims and objectives of the Fellowship are:
To promote Christian unity and to encourage united witness for Christ and His Gospel;
To encourage Christians to grow in their Spiritual life and to maintain high spiritual standards in day-to-day life;
To promote Christian education among children through Sunday School and Vacation Bible School, and
To promote social and other benevolent activities for the welfare of Anushaktinagar residents.
Golden Jubilee Year (1973 - 2023)
In this Golden Jubilee year, let us rededicate ourselves to the service to our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. Move forward with more zeal and diligence even in the challenging time as these. I am sure our God who is great and awesome will bless us with his abundant Grace to move forward. Holy Bible exhorts us in Ephesians 4: 3,4 “Make every effort to keep the unity of the Spirit through the bond of peace. There is one body and one Spirit, just as you were called to one hope when you were called”.
